CCCC's Health & Fitness Science signs articulation with Appalachian State University

Central Carolina Community College's Health and Fitness Science program recently joined an articulation agreement with Appalachian State University. Carl Bryan (left), CCCC Health and Fitness Science Program Director, and Dr. Mark Ginn, ASU Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, signed the agreement. "I am very excited for our Health and Fitness Science students for this new articulation agreement. It provides yet another pathway for our students to continue their education after obtaining an Associate in Applied Science degree here at Central Carolina," said Bryan, who noted that the CCCC Health and Fitness Science program also has articulation agreements with UNC-Wilmington and N.C. Wesleyan College. "The support of our Health and Fitness Science curriculum is overwhelming at ASU, and they have provided a seamless transfer for our Associate in Applied Science students to enter into their pursuit of a Bachelor's degree at ASU. The work we are doing in the classroom and labs at CCCC works in concert with what ASU is doing in their Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science."
