LILLINGTON - The Central Carolina Community College SPIE (international society for optics and photonics) student chapter will host a Day of Photonics event involving lasers, holography, and other photonics applications.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Central Carolina Community College's Harnett Main Campus, 1075 E. Cornelius Harnett Boulevard, Lillington.
The event, which is open to the public, includes a photo contest, prizes, refreshments, tour of the laser labs, and a keynote speaker.
