SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College will host a Laser & Photonics weekend workshop for middle school and high school aged youth.
The workshop will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at the CCCC Lee Main Campus in Sanford.
Participants will utilize a laser kit to see the properties of light - how light bends (refraction), how it bounces (reflection), and explore/experiment with the fundamentals of light.
Registration fee is $30. The registration fee includes materials, supplies, and a snack. A laser kit is included. There is limited seated for the workshop, so those who wish to attend should apply as soon as possible.
