SANFORD - Alexis Mackenzie of Richlands High School will join the Central Carolina Community College volleyball program.
Mackenzie was named to the Coastal 3A All-Conference Team as a senior at Richlands High School, where she played for Coach Ashton Allgood.
"Alexis is a great student-athlete from Richlands High School who will bring strength to the Cougar volleyball program with her defense and passing," said CCCC Volleyball Coach Bill Carter. "She is also an amazing setter, which we may utilize. I am very excited about her positive personality that she will bring to the team."
"I look forward to having Alexis join our Cougar athletics family," said CCCC Director of Athletics and Student Activities Jonathan Sisk. "Her leadership and positive energy will be a great asset to the program and department."
Central Carolina Community College volleyball participates in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III.
