CCCC recognized by N.C. Real Estate Commission

SANFORD -- Central Carolina Community College has received a school certificate of achievement from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

CCCC was recognized for achieving an outstanding record of student performance on the North Carolina Real Estate License Examination for the period of July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014.

Of the 23 Community/Technical Colleges, CCCC ranked first in percent passed, with eight of nine passing for an 89 percent passing rate. The passing rate for all Community/Technical Colleges was 62 percent (219 passed of 354 tested). The passing rate for all categories (Community/Technical Colleges, Colleges/Universities, Private Real Estate Schools, and Other Categories) was 61 percent (2,321 passed out of 3,814 tested).

Participants in the North Carolina Real Estate Provisional Broker course learn the information needed to be prepared to take the North Carolina Real Estate Commission examination to become a provisional broker. This approved real estate pre-license course covers introductory real estate principles, practices, agency relationships, duties, legal and ethical considerations, and working with sellers. Textbook is required.
