Central Carolina Community College's new West Harnett Center hosts an Open House and Ribbon Cutting event from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23. The public is invited. The new 8,500-square-foot, $1.9 million center is the college's first permanent facility in western Harnett County. It houses a barbering program, computer lab, welding shop, and space for additional classes and workforce training. The center, at 145 Olive Farm Drive, is located in the Western Harnett Industrial Park off N.C. Highway 87 South, two miles north of the intersection of highways 87 and 27.
