See demonstrations of solar thermal, solar electric, living roof, alternative wastewater treatment, green building, renewable energy, sustainable farming, and biofuels. Tour the Center and the joint county-college Chatham Community Library, which is also LEED Gold Certified and located on the Chatham Campus.
Take a self-guided tour of Chatham County homes built to be eco-friendly and energy efficient. Some of the homes are under construction, so visitors can view green building in progress. Photos and descriptions of the homes are at the college’s web site: www.cccc.edu/green/celebration/homes. Maps for the tour are available at the trade show Friday and Saturday. Tour times are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday only.

“We are thrilled to offer this event in our new library and sustainable technology building, showcasing state-of-the-art renewable energy applications and green building,” Lauffer said. “The trade show and home tour will provide participants with real-world applications of energy efficiency, renewable energy and historic home renovation.
