SANFORD –Central Carolina Community College’s highly rated women’s volleyball program will share its tips for great play with boys and girls ages 10-15 at the program’s upcoming Quad C Volleyball Camp.
The camp will teach the youth volleyball skills from beginning to intermediate levels while they have a lot of fun. It will be held 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 21-24, in the college’s gym in the Classroom and Fitness Center (CFC) on the Lee County Campus, 1105 Kelly Drive, Sanford.

Rusher heads the camp staff, all of whom have extensive experience either coaching or playing. The Lady Cougars placed second in its regular season and in conference tournament this year. Three of the players were named to the NJCAA Region X All-Region Team.
Rusher also coaches the Brick City NFerno, a Junior Olympic volleyball team. The team won four medals during the 2007-08 season and colleges recruited six of the players for the 2008-09 season.
