PITTSBORO - Three individuals are among the most recent graduates of the Central Carolina Community College Basic Law Enforcement Training program.
Graduates of the CCCC Chatham BLET night class are Connor Giles Brogan (Sanford), Alex Victor Lukasewycz (Efland), and Joshua Brent Sammons (Chapel Hill).
A ceremony to honor the graduates was held March 15 at the Chatham County Sheriff's Office in Pittsboro.
Recognized for outstanding achievement during their training were: Fastest Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) - Chase/ Apprehension - Joshua Sammons; Fastest Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) - Rescue - Joshua Sammons; Jimmy Collins Top Gun Award - Joshua Sammons; Highest Class Average - Alex Lukasewycz; and Highest State Exam - Connor Brogan.
Neil Ambrose, CCCC Director of Basic Law Enforcement Training, and Captain Tammy Kirkman of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office presented the Cadets with their certificates and awards.
Class sponsors were the Chatham County Sheriff's Office and Lillington Police Department.
