SANFORD - The Central Carolina Community College Foundation will host the Virtual Superhero 5K event June 25-July 25, 2020.
Proceeds from the event will be used to create a Superhero emergency fund to support the CCCC essential worker program students as they train to serve on the front lines of our communities. Essential students are those who are training/graduates of the CCCC Basic Law Enforcement Training, Emergency Medical Technician, Nursing, and other identified programs that train essential workers during a pandemic.
Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt upon completion of the 5K. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in a variety of categories.
