Chris George (center), who was the Most Outstanding Sophomore on the Central Carolina Community College 2018-19 men's basketball team, has signed to play with Bluefield College in Bluefield, Va. George, a 6-foot-3 forward who played at Cape Fear High School in Cumberland County, averaged 11.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for the CCCC Cougars. Coach McDougald said of George: "Chris has been a fantastic young man his two years here. Chris has done all the right things, and is a positive influence to those around him. He embodies what Cougar basketball is all about. It's been an absolute privilege to coach him and have him as part of this program."
