CCCC volleyball program new athletes

SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College has added two new athletes to its volleyball program.

Alexis Rolka, who attended Northwood High School in Chatham County, and Kayla Stange, who attended Overhills High School in Harnett County, will join the CCCC volleyball program.

"Alexis Rolka has a background of being a strong and athletic competitor. I am expecting her to bring that mentality and work ethic to the Cougar volleyball program, which will push us to get better. Alexis will be a blocking force for the Cougars in 2019," said CCCC Volleyball Coach Bill Carter.

"Kayla Stange is an experienced volleyball player and will make a big impact on the Cougar offense from the right side. Kayla will also help solidify the blocking front for the Cougar defense. I am excited about her on-court experience at Overhills High School," said Coach Carter.

The other new additions to the CCCC volleyball program and their respective high schools are:

Coach Carter said of the CCCC volleyball newcomers: "I am very excited about having so many new recruits sign to play for the Cougars on the 2019 fall volleyball team."
