SANFORD - Alicia Walker, who attended Ontario High School in Ontario, Ohio, has signed to join the Central Carolina Community College cross country program.
"Alicia began running cross country in junior high school. She is a seasoned veteran of the sport and her past experiences and positive attitude will help to elevate her teammates' performances," said CCCC Head Cross Country Coach Jacob Ashworth. "(Assistant) Coach (Clifton) Scarborough and myself are excited about out team dynamics as we prepare to start practice on August 1st."
Walker will join previous CCCC cross country signees Brent Holder of Southern Lee High School, Britt Lehman of Jordan-Matthews High School, Yocelyn Rivera of Hobbton High School, and Guadalupe "Lupe" Vazquez of Lee County High School.
