Registration, the process of scheduling your classes, is done prior to each upcoming term. For each academic term, a “hold” is placed on each student’s registration. To register for classes, you will first need to contact your advisor. In most cases, your advisor will want to meet with you to discuss your goals and class choices before the hold will be lifted.

Note: There are only certain time frames that you will have the ability to change your schedule. Please see the website or contact your advisor for these registration windows.

Before Registration

For current/continuing students:
  • Review your program of study and the courses you need from your program curriculum guide and your academic plan in Aviso
  • Review the schedule of classes (log into Webadvisor) for the upcoming term and write out a tentative schedule
  • Meet with your advisor to review your academic progress
  • Discuss with your advisor course options for the following term
  • Verify with your advisor that you have no other registration holds, like financial aid or information updates, on your account
  • Be aware of the earliest date you can register and register as soon as the registration period opens
For new students:
  • Your admissions counselor will guide you through the process
