Studying

All students are highly encouraged to study prior to taking the Accuplacer placement test. This ensures that students know what to expect from the test and have a brief refresher of skills prior to testing. Accuplacer studying material can be reviewed by several methods:

• The CCCC placement testing website.
• Scheduling a placement test review session through our Academic Assistance Centers. Review session events can be viewed on the CCCC events calendar.
• The Accuplacer Online Course and Practice Tests Site (Log In Information Required) - This site provides enrolled students and staff the access to comprehensive Accuplacer studying material. Each section contains four practice tests and provides valuable instruction on missed questions. Students are encouraged to email us at doate991@cccc.edu to obtain the login information required for this site. Students should include their name, telephone number, and email address in the email request so that the log in information can be sent.
• The College Board also has "The Official ACCUPLACER Study Application" for sale on the iTunes store for $1.99.
