CCCC computer labs feature up-to-date computers with fast internet connections and are available for use by any enrolled student. Computers are equipped with Microsoft Office 2007. The Academic Assistance Center's computers are equipped with sound cards so students can use the tutorial CD that accompanies their textbook.
CCCC's tutorial assistance program is designed to reinforce and supplement classroom instruction. Tutorial assistance is available to enrolled curriculum students, free of charge. Students are tutored by peer tutors who have been recommended by their instructors. Most often, tutoring sessions meet 2 or 3 times each week for 50 minutes.
Any student in need of tutorial assistance should stop by the Academic Assistance Center.
Central Carolina Community College students may take make-up exams in the Academic Assistance Center. These tests are arranged with the individual faculty member. While it is beneficial to schedule an appointment, walk-ins are welcome. A VALID PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED.
The Academic Assistance Center proctors undergraduate and graduate school exams from other institutions. These exams are proctored by appointment only.
