Job Requirements

The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Central Carolina Community College. The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to the appointed seventeen-member Board.

Central Carolina Community College is a vigorous and thriving institution with an outstanding reputation located in the high-growth counties south of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. The College is located in the geographic heart of North Carolina, with access to the Research Triangle to the north, renowned golf courses and resorts to the south, and a short drive to the mountains or Carolina beaches.

CCCC provides educational services to residents of Lee, Harnett, and Chatham counties at its three campuses, several centers, and other facilities. The college takes seriously its three-fold mission: providing quality two-year degree and university transfer programs both on-site and via distance learning; continuing education that includes adult high school/GED, short-term vocational training/certification, and community interest classes; and basic skills programs. The college is also very committed to providing specialized workforce training for local businesses and industries.

The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and in 2007, it was one of only seven community colleges in North Carolina to meet all 12 Performance Funding Measures on the "Critical Success Factors Report."

CCCC currently enrolls about 5,000 curriculum students per semester in seated and distance education and about 8,000 (duplicated enrollment) in continuing education courses.
