SANFORD - Approximately 100 exhibitors were present for the Central Carolina Community College Annual Career Fair 2018.

The CCCC Career Fair was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center, 1801 Nash St., Sanford.

Mary Parker, CCCC Career Center Coordinator in Lee County, says she was excited to see so many diverse exhibitors wanting to meet students, alumni, and members of the community to discuss career options and employment opportunities. "The event was a great success because of the support shown by so many, including CCCC administrators, staff, alumni, faculty, and community college partners," she said. "None of the activities that took place on Career Day could have been possible without the efforts and time given by so many dedicated and committed individuals seeking to enhance student learning, encourage professional development, and enable others to travel down their chosen career pathways leading to their defined place of career success. I thank everyone who assisted in making Career Day a day of discovery and accomplishment for all."

The CCCC Career Center offers the following services: career and internship advising, online career assessment, career exploration, resume writing assistance, interviewing etiquette demonstration, on-campus recruitment events, and a career resource library.

The Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. To schedule an appointment or for more information, people can contact the Career Center at 919-718-7396 or visit the CCCC website at www.cccc.edu/careercenter.
