SANFORD -- The Central Carolina Community College has two remaining tournaments this spring season.

The Cougars will play in a tournament April 6-7 at Anderson Creek Golf Club. CCCC will take part in the regional tournament April 18-19 at The Emerald Golf Club in New Bern.

The CCCC team has finished third in its two previous tournaments -- in Myrtle Beach at Arrowhead Golf Club and The Wizard Golf Course, and in Smithfield at the Country Club of Johnston County.

"I have really enjoyed coaching these guys this year," said Coach Jonathan Hockaday. "They have been a great group and we hope to finish off the year with a strong showing in our last two tournaments."

Members of the team are: Derek Cannady, Cris Crissman, and Jordan Thomas, all graduates of Southern Lee High School, and Erik McPherson and Brandon O'Quinn, both graduates of Lee County High School.
