PITTSBORO - Are you a beginning homebrewer who would like to know more?

Central Carolina Community College is offering an Intermediate Beer Brewing class for beginning homebrewers who want to take their skills and knowledge to the next level. Class members will refine their brewing process, begin designing their own beers, and explore in detail the main ingredients in beer (grain, hops, yeast, and water).

Kevin Lindley will be instructor for the course, which will be held on Saturdays, April 4-May 2, from noon to 2 p.m. at CCCC's Chatham County Campus, Building 45, in Pittsboro. Lindley is an award-winning homebrewer and registered beer judge who is passionate about brewing great beer. He has been brewing since 2007, and enjoys brewing and sampling all beer styles.

Those interested in attending should register in advance by calling 919-545-8044.
