Central Carolina Community College Continuing Education Medical Programs graduation

About 190 students completed certificates during the spring semester in the areas of EKG Technician, Advanced EKG, EKG Monitor Technician, Optometric Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Nursing Assistant Refresher, Nursing Assistant I or II, Drug Collection Specialist, or Medical Terminology. About 40, including Bryant, did their training under the auspices of the college’s JobsNOW program, which trains unemployed workers in new careers within a few months. Bryant returned to school after being laid off by Moen and earned both her Phlebotomy and Drug Collection Specialist certificates.
