Magazine accepting literary submissions

SANFORD — The Red Clay Review — the literaryrn magazine of Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) — isrn seeking to publish a variety of voices from both withinrn and around the college and is accepting submissions fromrn students, faculty and local residents.

rn The magazine is looking for interesting and unique voicesrn in fiction, nonfiction and poetry for consideration inrn the publication’s second issue, which will be publishedrn in April.

rn There are a few submission guidelines for the Red Clayrn Review. Applicants should be CCCC affiliates (includingrn current students, former students, distance students,rn faculty and staff) or a resident in the college’srn service area — Chatham, Harnett, and Lee counties.

rn Prose submissions are limited to 1,500 words and shouldrn be typed and double-spaced. Poetry is limited to threern submissions per applicant.

rn The name, address and phone number of the submitter andrn approximate word count for each piece should be listedrn in the upper left-hand corner of the first page of eachrn submission.

rn Electronic submissions are preferred but not required.rn Submissions will be accepted from November 1 to Februaryrn 1, 2006, and the magazine will be available at the beginningrn of April.
