SANFORD -- Taylor Wagner, who will be a spring graduate of Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, has agreed to join the Central Carolina Community College volleyball program.

Wagner plans to attend CCCC's Cosmetology program.

"Taylor is a very well-rounded student athlete and caring person," said CCCC volleyball coach Bill Carter. "She helps care for family members and is very serious about her future education at Central Carolina Community College.

"Taylor will bring leadership to the court, as well as power and control to the outside hitter position," said Carter. "She is a six-rotation athlete that will strengthen our current Cougar volleyball squad as we set our sights on a conference championship and a bid to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament."

The CCCC volleyball program participates in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III. The Cougars will open the 2015 season in August.
