CCCC hosts 'Back to School-Back to Work' Education Employment Fair

SANFORD - Come learn how going back to school can help you get back to work at Central Carolina Community College's "Back to School-Back to Work" Education Employment Fair.

The college's Continuing Education Department hosts the Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center, 1801 Nash St.

Approximately 25 booths will feature potential employment information; details on Continuing Education affordable, short-term job training; and financial aid options to help pay for training.

Medical course information and employers, as well as other occupational training and employment information, will be available. The college's Small Business Center will provide information on turning a passion into a profession.

Medical course orientation sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to provide information needed for students to be ready when registration begins on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Anyone interested in taking health occupations classes is urged to attend one of these sessions.

"The general public, as well as current, former, and future students, are urged to attend," said Cindy Ramsey, CCCC-Lee County director of Continuing Education. "Let's get our community Back to School and Back to Work!"
