CCCC launches welding diploma to help meet need for welders

Godfrey recently graduated and now works as a maintenance mechanic. The college is expanding its welding program due to high demand for skilled welders. The four-semester Diploma in Welding Technology program starts with the fall semester. Registration for the fall semester, which starts Aug. 19, is now taking place at the CCCC Welcome Center at the Lee County Campus and the campuses in Chatham and Harnett counties.
