Central Carolina Community College announces that Golden LEAF Foundation scholarships are available for the fall, spring and summer semesters. Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and reside in rural counties that are tobacco-dependent and/or economically distressed. That includes Harnett and Lee, which are within the college's designated service area. Students attending CCCC who reside outside the service area may also be eligible. The deadline for applications for the fall semester is Sept. 14. Contact CCCC's Financial Aid Office at 919-718-7229 or visit the Student Services Office at a local CCCC campus for information about the scholarship program and an application.
