CCCC students become Goodmon Fellows

Central Carolina Community College student Steven Richard (center), of Chatham County, graduated from the 2012 Leadership Triangle College Edition on April 13 and is now a Goodmon Fellow of the organization. Pictured with him are the graduation keynote speaker, Cynthia Marshall (left), president of AT&T North Carolina, and Jim Goodmon, president and CEO of Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc., and chair emeritus of Leadership Triangle. Richard and fellow CCCC student Eduardo Platon, of Wake County, were among a select group of 20 students from the 11 universities, colleges and community colleges in the Triangle area who participated in the program. College Edition develops students' leadership skills, deepens their knowledge and understanding of community-based problem solving, and prepares them to become future leaders of the Triangle area.
