Mercogliano Vince
Dr. Sal Mercogliano, history instructor at Central Carolina Community College’s Lee County Campus, honored Veterans Day with a lecture on World War I. The war ended with an armistice signed Nov. 11, 1918. During the lecture, Mercogliano spoke of the legacy left by that war that persists down to modern times and of some of the men who fought the war.
