The Central Carolina Community College Association of Educational Office Professionals honored four scholarship recipients at its August 25 meeting at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center. CCCCAEOP Scholarship winners were (front, from left) Veterinary Medical Technology student Anna L. McKellar, Early Childhood Education Teacher Associate student Patricia L. Sellers, and Laser and Photonics Technology student James M. Knight, all of Sanford, and (not pictured) Library and Information Technology student Deborah R. Smith, of Conover. Presenting the scholarships were (back, from left) CCCC President Bud Marchant, CCCCAEOP President Sue Whitman, and Scholarship Committee Chair Peggy Cotten. Each student was awarded a $500 scholarship for the 2011-12 school year.
