Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show at Central Carolina Community College’s 50th Anniversary kickoff celebration at the college’s Emergency Services Training Center, 3000 Airport Road, Sanford. The kickoff event runs from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23, with two bands, 82nd Airborne Freefall Team, games, activities, and more. Admission and entertainment are free; vendors will offer a variety of foods for sale.
