CCCC Phi Beta Lambda wins big at state competition

Five Phi Beta Lambda business club students at Central Carolina Community College competed at the PBL State Leadership Conference April 7-10, in Charlotte, and each placed in at least one competition. Pictured (from left) are Nora Stallings, of Liberty, Fifth Place in HR Management; Cheryl Reynolds, of Cameron, Third Place in Job Interview; Nick Wicker, of Mamers, First Place in Accounting and Sixth Place in Business Law; Shirley Rijkse, of Broadway, Third Place in Client Service and Eighth place in Public Speaking; and Maria Nieto, of Mamers, Second Place in Justice Administration. Wicker and Nieto will advance to competitions at PBL’s National Conference, to be held in Orlando.
