CCCC Nursing students visit legislature

Sen. Bob Atwater, D-Chapel Hill (left), meets with Central Carolina Community College Associate Degree Nursing students during the N.C. Nurses Association Day March 8 in Raleigh. The students spoke with the senator about some of the pending or recently passed bills that affect health care in the state. Pictured (from left) are Sen. The 25 ADN second-level students and two nursing instructors from CCCC who went to Raleigh also attended a NCNA conference where they learned about how legislation affects health care in the state.
