Central Carolina Community College student Jason Morris recently completed several welding certifications in a Continuing Education JobsNOW class at the college’s Harnett County Campus. With the skills and certifications he gained, he has now started his own welding business in Apex.

Roger McDougald, of Bunnlevel, welds a metal door during Central Carolina Community College’s JobsNOW welding program at the college’s Harnett County Campus. The three-semester class enabled students to become certified in SIP, MIG, TIG, stick and gas welding and find work as certified welders.
