CCCC-Harnett awards N.C. Career Readiness certificates

Central Carolina Community College honored 23 recipients of N.C. Career Readiness certificates at a Recognition Ceremony Aug. 19 at its Harnett County Campus. The recipients had successfully passed Career Readiness Certification assessments at the Bronze, Silver or Gold level, indicating their basic workforce skill levels in applied math, reading for information, and locating information. Those attending the ceremony were (front, from center left) recipients Noreen Stone, Daisy Haywood, Dianna Alford, Glenda Wood, and Delores Yeager; and (back row, from left): CCCC Dean of Adult and Continuing Education Phyllis Huff, CRC Coordinator Patricia Stone-Hackett, CCCC Provost for Harnett County Bill Tyson (behind Hackett), CRC Advisory Board Chairman Jim Futrell, and CRC recipients Lajuana McNeill, Jeanette McLean, Richard Modicue, Gerald Vaughn, Kimberly Miller, and Kenneth Williams Jr. Not pictured are CRC recipients Gladys Clegg, Donna Mason, Willie Rich, Erik Smith, Irene Fuentes, Jackie Gore, Cynthia Hiner, Allen Jaskolka, Marilyn Moore, Sherri Spearman, Sharon Huskey, and Anthony Underhill. All are current residents of Harnett County, except for Miller and Fuentes, who have relocated.
