Record enrollments continue at CCCC

Central Carolina Community College’s spring enrollment for curriculum classes set a record for the second year in a row, with more than 5,000 students enrolling. Health programs saw an increase of 21 percent over the spring 2009 enrollment: 1,093 versus 902. Current Associate Degree Nursing students (clockwise, from front left) Crystal Lynch, of Lillington; Natalie Bullard, of Plain View; Beverly Alward, of Sanford; and Megan Cullen, of Fuquay-Varina, are looking forward to their May graduation. The number of students taking general education classes with the goal of being accepted into the ADN program increased almost 29 percent from spring 2009 to spring 2010, from 238 to 334.
