The golf foursome of David Foushee, John Johnson, Jimmy Martin and Robin Williams took home First Place in the Best Ball Gross Division at Central Carolina Community College Foundation’s 20th Annual Golf Classic Sept. 30 at Sanford Golf Course. The Classic is the foundation’s biggest fundraiser, with proceeds used primarily to provide scholarships. This year’s event has raised about $30,000 so far, with donations still coming in. Other Best Ball Gross winning teams (not pictured) were: Second Place – Chet Chester, Junior Cole, Dave Glabicki, and Kel Normann; and Third Place – Jeff Beal, Ashley Brown, Dale Fogarty, and Jon Hockaday.
