CCCC offers ecotourism

Chatham County abounds with locations for those interested in environmentally friendly travel and tourism – ecotourism, such as sailing or fishing on Jordan Lake. Central Carolina Community College, the Pittsboro-Siler City Convention and Visitors Bureau, and other community organizations partnered to develop an Ecotourism Certificate at the college to train workers in this field. It is the first Ecotourism Certificate to be offered in the North Carolina Community College System.
